Work began around noon Tuesday sto take down the second story of the IOOF building on Kingshighway after storm damage pushed the roof into the first floor of the building. According to Lynn Lancaster, director of the Historic Downtown Sikeston group, if the building can be stabilized they hope to restore the first floor for use.
