Runeisha Bryant, a first grader and Devin Kempfer, a fourth grader, help plant a tree on the campus of Morehouse Elementary School Monday. The tree was planted in remembrance of Sept. 11, 2001. Bizzell Lawn Care donated the tree.

SIKESTON -- Last month President Bush signed the Nurse Reinvestment Act into law. One area nurse is providing an example of how that legislation will work for nurses everywhere -- even in Southeast Missouri -- once funds are appropriated.
