Local man pleads guilty on meth charges

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A Mississippi County man pled guilty Monday to felony drug charges in federal court. Mark Allen Lee, 43, of Charleston, entered a plea of guilty to one felony count of possession with intent to distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine. He now faces a maximum of life imprisonment and a $4 million fine with the court imposing a period of supervised release of at least eight years. Sentencing has been set for Aug. 15 in Cape Girardeau...
