Cleaning out (09/19/05)
Vona Baker places a drawer on furniture already piled in the alley of School Street for the city's annual fall cleanup. Residents will have two chances in one week to dispose of bulky rubbish. Monday and Thursday pickup's cleanup days are Sept. 19 and 22; Tuesday and Friday pickups will have items collected on Sept. 27 and Sept. 30. Scott County Central students watch a Union Pacific Toy Train race down the tracks Saturday morning at the Sikeston Depot. The Depot is hosting the D&R classic toy train layouts on which collectors Don Reder and Paul Davis run their Santa Fe and Union Pacific model trains on.
