SIKESTON -- Individuals or groups interested in managing the license office in Sikeston now have their chance. On Feb. 10, the management of the Sikeston License Bureau was put up for bid. In January, Gov. Jay Nixon abolished the patronage system of doling out license bureaus to political supporters.
