Cancer survivors were honored and celebrated during New Madrid County's Relay for Life which began Friday evening and ended early Saturday. Firefighters with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety battle a fire Friday afternoon. At 2:53 p.m., they were called to Pallet Connection at 1650 Highway HH in reference to a fire. During the blaze, it was reported that 10,000 pallets were destroyed, as well as four vehicles. Firefighters remained on the scene until about 6:30 p.m., and were assisted by other departments...
