sports@standard-democrat.com SIKESTON -- After a disappointing start to the bull riding competition on opening night, things heated up on Thursday as riders capped the second day of the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo with much improved scores. All four riders to complete their rides in the night's main event posted scores in the 80's to easily eclipse Wednesday night's leader, Lucas Guilbeau, who posted a 79. Leading the pack was Trey Benton III, who rode bull Two Faced for a score of 86...
