Learning center in East Prairie awarded large grant (09/11/12)
scottw@standard-democrat.com EAST PRAIRIE -- A grant of nearly $100,000 will be used to reduce infant mortality and improve the health of women in their childbearing years. The Susanna Wesley Family Learning Center in East Prairie was recently awarded $99,694 in grant funding by the Missouri Foundation for Health. The MFH Women's Health program funding will be used over a two-year period to educate area women about nutrition, exercise and healthy living...
