Sikeston firefighters work the scene of a fatal fire on Wednesday morning. According to reports, the Sikeston Department of Public Safety received the call at 5:15 a.m. of a fire at the corner of Hardin and South Prairie. A single female was in the home at the time of the fire. Firefighters removed her from the home but the woman could not be revived. No further information was available at press time...
