Richland student killed on bicycle

CAMPBELL. -- A Richland Elementary student was killed late Friday morning while riding his bicycle in Campbell. According to authorities, 9-year-old John Siebert was from Essex, and was visiting relatives in Campbell when the accident occurred. The child was reportedly with friends and was riding a bicycle that had no brakes. When he entered an intersection near the Campbell Schools, he reportedly struck the side of a passing truck.
