PUXICO -- Jerry Dean Holigan, 75, died March 30, 2008, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

Born Jan. 22, 1933, in Puxico, to the late Harl and Inez Clinton Holigan, he lived most of his life in Puxico where he was a member of the VFW Post 7822. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of the United Association BTJ Pipefitters.

On June 29, 1998, in New Orleans, he married Donna Wickham who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Matt Holigan of Puxico; two daughters, Dawn Mueller of DeSoto and Bobbie Jamboretz of Arnold; one brother, Harold Holigan of Dallas; one sister, Freda Stephens of Puxico; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Joan Holigan and Marlene Dunlap.

Visitation will be held today after 5 p.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Duck Creek Cemetery near Puxico.
