SIKESTON - Neighbors in the vicinity of the high school can breath a sigh of relief now - a sigh free of dust particles. The street running adjacent to the swimming pool has been graveled. It intersects with Hunter and what formerly was called Lindley, both surfaced streets, and becomes Taylor Street all the way through north and south.

ALAMOGORO, N.M. - Joshua K. Bolles, former city editor of The Standard, has written from Alamogoro that he has just completed a contract to write a biography for Howard A. Cowden of Kansas City, Kan.

SIKESTON - Save-A-Lot, a discount grocery store, opened its doors to the public Sunday. The new store is located at 601 S. Main in Sikeston. Cliff Barborek is store manager.
