Letter To The Editor

I am writing to thank all of the people who responded to our SpeakOut to help with the air conditioning problems in our home. I truly appreciate the many calls from people so willing to help. Unfortunately, Liesa passed away July 15 and she was my primary concern to keep comfortable in this heat.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has helped us during this time. From the pallbearers and honorary pallbearers to all who attended visitation, the funeral, sent cards, flowers, food, came by the house or called. I want to say a special thank you to Moll Printing (Lynn and Mike) for helping us put together a booklet with some of Liesa's poems she had written. I can never thank everyone enough for all the support you have shown my family and me. Liesa was a very important part of our family and our community.

We hear so much of the bad things happening these days that I thought this was a good opportunity to recognize a community for the support they offered this family in our time of need. Thank you.
