Incident under investigation by DPS

SIKESTON -- Officers with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety are investigating a larceny from a vehicle Thursday evening.

According to reports, Adam Pavelki, a salesman with Kirby Vacuum Cleaners, parked his truck in the driveway of a home at 210 Alabama in order to show the resident a vacuum. When he returned to his truck, he found a vacuum cleaner missing.

The vacuum was valued at $1,348 and is described as maroon in color with a silver upright and in a maroon box.
