CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Mary Francis Duff, 80, died Feb. 2, 2004, at her home in Cape Girardeau.

Born June 29, 1923, in Portageville, daughter of the late Steve and Emma Durbin, she was a member of the St. Eustachius Catholic Church, Ladies of Sodality and St. Mary Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. She had homes in both Cape Girardeau and Portageville.

On Nov. 30, 1940, she married William "Charlie" Duff who preceded her in death on Nov. 8, 2003.

Survivors include: four daughters and five sons-in-law, Norma and Robert "Bob" Carter of Portageville, Rita and Russ Friedewald of Riverton, Ill., Teresa and Bill LeGrand of Kelso, Kim and Dwight Tanksley of Cape Girardeau and James Blowers of Lexington, Tenn.; and 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren-in-law and three great-stepgrandchildren.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Tuesday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville where a prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church with the Rev. Allen Saunders officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
