SHS volleyball falls

JACKSON -- The Sikeston Lady Bulldogs volleyball went on the road Tuesday night and lost to a very tough Jackson team 25-17, 25-14.

With the loss, Sikeston falls to 6-8-2 on the season and will play again Thursday at Scott City.

In junior varsity action Jackson won 25-10, 25-6.

In other volleyball action Tuesday, Scott City downed Oran 25-14, 25-8.

Cassie Graviett had five kills and two digs for Oran.

Scott City won the junior varsity match 25-15, 25-16.

Cape Central downed New Madrid County Central 25-15, 25-17.

NMCC lost the junior varsity match as well 25-12, 25-20.
