DeWitt to AFL

LOS?ANGELES -- Sikeston native Blake DeWitt will be heading to Arizona later this month to play in the Arizona Fall League.

DeWitt, who will play for the Peoria Saguaros, hit .281 with 6 home runs and 20 RBIs for the Jacksonville Suns this summer. Jacksonville is the Double-A team in the Los Angeles Dodger organization.

DeWitt started the season playing for the Inland Empire 66ers where he hit .298 with 8 home runs and 46 RBIs before being promoted to Jacksonville.
