BLOOMFIELD -- Lester Paul Hyslop, 90, died Sept. 21, 2007, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born Sept. 28, 1916, in Essex, son of the late Leroy and Ethel Wright, he had spent all his life in the Bloomfield community, where he was a member of Hill's General Baptist Church.
On Jan. 17, 1937, he married Mildred Edwards, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, John Hyslop of New Bloomfield; one daughter, Bonnie Lynn of Cullman, Ala.; one brother, Charles Hyslop of Birch Tree; three sisters, Bonnie Brown of St. Louis, Florence Bright of Jackson and Betty Jo Summers of Dexter; and one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. today at Chiles-
Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield. The Rev. Gerald King will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hills Cemetery near Bloomfield.
