CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Jerry Ann Schindler Dixon, 76, died Sept. 20, 2007, at Life Care Center of Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 29, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Felix A. and Zita Mary Farrar Schindler, she was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She belonged to the VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Post 63 Auxiliary, and the Ladies Society at St. Vincent de Paul Church. She had been an licensed practical nurse in the Memphis, Tenn., area for 20 years.
On Jan. 21, 1962, in Sikeston, she married LeRoy E. Dixon, who preceded her in death.
One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four nieces and their spouses, Sherry Sue and Edward Speakman of Sikeston, Deborah and Pat McCann of Cape Girardeau, Victoria and Clarence Meyer of Chesterfield and Jacqueline and Benson Forrest of Lexington, Ky.; one nephew, Ray Dixon of Blytheville, Ark.; and several great and great-
great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home, where parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m., with a rosary to follow. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Crittenden Memorial Park in West Memphis, Ark.
