NEW MADRID -- Kontek Industries, one of the technology leaders in homeland security and force protection products, announced it has been awarded a Federal Supply Schedule contract from the General Services Administration. The Schedule 84 allows law enforcement, security, marine craft, fire/rescue, and special purpose clothing products and services to be sold directly to the federal government.
"We are very pleased to be awarded this contract. For a small and fast-
growing company like Kontek, it is the quickest and easiest way to grow sales in the federal marketplace," said Don Utz, president of Kontek Industries. "Holding this contract also allows federal agencies to be aware of and procure our services and products faster and easier than before."
