CHARLESTON - Barbara Jean Moore, 64, died March 24, 2005, at her home.
Born Dec. 4, 1940, in rural Charleston, daughter of Charles Winston of Detroit, Mich., and the late Myretta Sinks, she was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church and a former church secretary.
On March 7, 1965, she married Thomas Moore who survives of the home.
Survivors also include: two daughters, Laineice Moore of Charleston and Dorothy Moore of Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Harold Winston of Charleston and Bradley Moore of Nashville; four sisters, Dorothy Sinks and Kathryn Sinks of Charleston, Lanata Winston of the state of Georgia and Pam Winston of Omaha, Neb.; one brother, James Sinks of Cape Girardeau; and 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Sinks; one daughter, Diana Winston; one son, William Thomas; one brother, Otha Lee Sinks; and one sister, Earnestine Sinks.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
