DEXTER - Wanda E. Walker, 84, died Sept. 13, 2007, at the St. Louis University Hospital.
Born June 10, 1923, in Success, Ark., to the late Curt and Alta Willis Cobb, she had lived in the Essex and Grayridge communities and moved to Dexter in 1975. She was a member of the General Baptist Church.
On March 8, 1941, in Charleston, she married Eskew Walker who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1974.
One brother, Leroy Cobb, also preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one son, Leland E. Walker of Bloomfield; one brother, Bill Cobb of Blythe, Calif.; three sisters, Ruby Pulley of Columbus, Ohio, Norma Santo of St. Louis and Brenda Allen of Blythe, Calif.; and two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Monday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Doyle Corlew of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
