EAST PRAIRIE - Ronald Max Seal, 66, died at 6:20 p.m. Jan. 12, 2004, at the Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tenn.
Born Aug. 22, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., son of Faye Arnold Seal of Paragould, Ark., and the late Frank Seal, he had been the office manager at the Associated Natural Gas Co., retiring in April 1998. A member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston, he was also a member of Kiwanis Clubs in East Prairie, Charleston and Kennett and the Industrial Development Board of Mississippi County.
On June 2, 1961, in Kennett, he married JoAnn Price who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Cindy Seal of Bentonville, Ark.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Lori and Richard Schmitt of Irving, Texas; and Jill Seal of Laverne, Tenn.; two brothers, Jerry Seal of Vancouver, Wash., and Jim Seal of Piggott; and four grandchildren, Kailey and Chloe Seal of Bentonville and Tom and Mallory Schmitt of Irving.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday. Pat Hogan, minister of Shady Acres Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
