DEXTER - Louise Gardner, 83, formerly of Hannibal and St. Louis, died Sept. 1, 2004, at Cypress Point Health Care in Dexter.
Born Dec. 17, 1920, in Hannibal, daughter of the late Robert William and Lillie May Williams Gardner, she was a dietitian for St. John's Hospital in St. Louis for 10 years and Dexter Memorial Hospital for 15 years before retiring. She was a member of Faith Fellowship in Dexter.
Two brothers and five sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one nephew, the Rev. Frank Heitman of Spring, Texas; one great-nephew, the Rev. Ron Heitman of Chicago; three great-nieces, Carol Heitman and Linda Heitman of Cape Girardeau and Debra McKay of Dexter; one great-great-nephew, Nathan McKay of Murray, Ky.; and two great-great-nieces, McKenna Heitman and Matison Heitman of Chicago.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Friday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. The Revs. Karen Oldham and Bonnie Cross of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
