JEFFERSON CITY -- Ken and Janet Drenon have announced the engagement of their daughter, Andrea, to Joey Myers, son of Mike and Linda Myers of Sikeston.
A 1999 graduate of Jefferson City High School, the future bride graduated in 2003 from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies-child life. She is continuing her education at Mizzou for special education.
Myers, a 1997 graduate of Sikeston High School, graduated in 2002 from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science in human development and family studies. He is employed by the Missouri Department of Social Services.
Wedding plans are under way for a May 29 ceremony.
