Preston Harper

SIKESTON - Preston Lawrence Harper, 2-day-old son of Travis and Amanda Richardson Harper of Sikeston, died Jan. 7, 2004, at Children's Hospital in St. Louis. He was born Jan. 5, 2004, in Sikeston.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: his maternal grandparents, Karen Richardson and David Pemberton Jr. of Sikeston; paternal grandfather, Glen Harper of Scott City; maternal great-grandparents, William and Lotha Arthur of Morehouse; and paternal great-grandmother, Virginia Harper of Scott City.

His paternal grandmother, Connie Washburn, preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 3 p.m. today until service time at 4 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. Roy Bonner, pastor of Greer Chapel, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.

Pallbearers will be his uncles, Brandon Harper and Jason Richardson.
