LILBOURN - April Alesha Young, 26, died April 13, 2004, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Born July 10, 1977, in Sikeston, daughter of Earnest Strickland of Hannibal and Marilyn Ranson of Lilbourn, she graduated in 1995 from New Madrid County Central High School. She was a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Lilbourn.
Her husband, Lawrence Young, survives of the home.
Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: one son, Travon Young of the home; one daughter, Kira Young of the home; five brothers, Clayton C. Willis of Sikeston, Alvin A. Willis of Boston and Tracy Ranson, Michael Ranson and Ronland Ranson of Lilbourn; and four sisters, Doria D. Bailey of Fort Wayne, Ind., Antheena F. Felton of Woodbridge, Va., and Rebecca A. Ranson and Tammy S. Ranson of Lilbourn.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. Saturday until service time at 1 p.m. at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist church. The Rev. Earnest Willis will officiate.
Burial will follow in Simmons Park Cemetery at Catron.
Williams Funeral Home of Howardville is in charge of arrangements.
