Monday afternoon fire

A firefighter with the Sikeston Department of Public Safety works to put out a fire at the Frito Lay warehouse at 2014 E. Malone. According to reports, juveniles caught a trailer on fire which spread to the warehouse at 4:32 p.m. Monday. Three juveniles were taken into custody for the fire. Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control quickly minimizing the loss, however, the extent of the damage was not known at press time.
