Kelly wins in OT

BENTON -- Kelly won its first game of the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament on Monday night, beating East Prairie 91-79 in overtime.

The Hawks were led by Chris Romas with 24 and Kendal Deason with 21.

Josh Jones had 14, and Trey Simmons and Kent Deason each scored 11.

For East Prairie, Jordan Sanders scored 32 and Preston Shoemaker added 20.

Kelly will play the winner today's 6 p.m. Scott Central/Chaffee game on Thursday. Today's other varsity game is between Delta and Oran at 7:30 p.m.
