ROSEWOOD HEIGHTS, Ill. - Wanda Bee Zook, 68, died at 3:40 a.m. Feb. 19, 2004, at her home.
Born Aug. 11, 1935, in Bondard, Ky., daughter of the late Samuel and Hattie Blasingim Overton, she owned and operated Wanda's Cake Decorating and Supplies for many years.
On Dec. 24, 1954, she married Earl E. Zook who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Sherry Zook of Moro and Rick and Donna Zook of Rosewood Heights; one daughter, Cindy Miller of Alton; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marie and Sam Sellier of Sun City, Ariz., Lois and Bob Rea of South Roxana and Linda Ross of Wood River; one brother, Jerry Overton of South Roxana; a special friend, Matt Woulfa of Alton; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Ardith Ann Overton; and two brothers, Ivan Eveland and Paul Dean Overton.
Visitation is from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Gray Funeral Home in Wood River where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Steve Greer will officiate.
Burial will follow in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana.
