Scott City
SCOTT CITY - Debra Hamil Brawley, 45, died at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 1, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born Sept. 21, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of the late Arthur Clifford and Melba Melinda Rhodes Hamil, she had been a clerk for Heilig-Meyer.
Survivors include: one son, Michael "Boomer" Brawley of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Hope York and Shawna Maglone of Cape Girardeau; one sister, Myrna Hale of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Ken Strong, officiating.
Burial will follow in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
