SIKESTON - Cecil Stoker Daugherty, 93, died Aug. 25, 2004, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
Born Oct. 27, 1910, in Matthews, son of the late Benjamin Gaither and Bertie May Stoker Daugherty, he was a retired farmer and member of Tanner Street Church of God.
On Oct. 11, 1931, in Lilbourn, he married Lena Marie Acord who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Lena Mae Wood of Sikeston and Linda Faye McNamara of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Gaither Daugherty of Sikeston; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one so, Voyan Lineual Daugherty; one brother, Herbert "Buster" Daugherty; and one sister, Althea Acord.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, where services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Larry Smith, associate pastor of Tanner Street Church of God, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: David Dillender, Ken Latham, David Duncan, Ryan Davis, Jordan Dillender and Craig Duncan.
