CHAFFEE - The Rev. Dale Levi Hendrix, 58, died at 1:12 a.m. Oct. 25, 2001, at his home.
Born Dec. 22, 1942, in Zalma, son of the late Cletis Izer and Thelma Delores Gobble Hendrix, he was pastor of the House of Prayer in Chaffee.
On Nov. 23, 1962, he married Virginia L. McRoy, who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: five sons, Larry Hendrix of St. Charles and Scott Hendrix, Travis Hendrix, Shannon Hendrix and Joe Hendrix of Chaffee; three daughters, Mary Day of St. Charles and Jeannie Walker and Marty Seabaugh of Chaffee; five sisters, Anna Lee Morgan of Poplar Bluff, Helen Hurst of Walnut Ridge, Ark., Jerrie Bentley and Reva Harrison of East Alton, Ill., and Janice Hunter of Chaffee; and 18 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one grandson.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Robert Dudley officiating.
Burial will follow in Union Park Cemetery.
