CHARLESTON - Patty Louise Baker, 77, died at 8:30 a.m. March 16, 2004, at her home.
Born Feb. 4, 1927, in Mississippi County, daughter of the late Harvey and Loula Criss Arington, she lived in Mississippi County all her life. She was a member of the First Church of God in East Prairie.
On Dec. 21, 1946, she married Arnold U. Baker who preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 2004.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Molly Jo Baker of Lakeland, Fla., Steve and Debbie Baker of Sikeston and Danny and Cheryl Baker of Charleston; one daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Randy Cave of Charleston; three brothers, Linvil Arington of Orlando, Fla., Arlie Arington of Ontario, Calif., and Bill Arington of the Dogwood Community; four sisters, Allene Baker, Molly Blumenberg and Josephine Hendrix of East Prairie and Dalvie Blumenberg of Clinton, Ky.; and 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
One granddaughter, one brother and three sisters also preceded her in death.
Visitation begins at 3 p.m. Friday at Shelby Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. Martin Lucas will officiate.
Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Steve Baker, Galon Baker, Justin Baker, David Baker, Jon Hutcheson and Noah Barfield.
