Traffic tie-up

Motorists were backed up for miles on Interstate 55 Tuesday afternoon after an accident closed the southbound lane. Emergency personnel closed I-55 from I-57 to the New Madrid exit because a tanker overturned. The Interstate was closed for over two hours to clean up the site.
