BLOOMFIELD -- A southeast Missouri man was killed Tuesday when he drove his vehicle under a crossing arm and was struck by a Union Pacific train, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Lee Anthony, 20, of Dexter, was driving across crossing the tracks in Stoddard County, just east of Bloomfield, shortly after 1 p.m., the patrol said.
The train was traveling south and the crossing device had a light, gate and bell combination.
Anthony was pronounced dead at the scene.
