WOOSTER, Ohio - Bernice J. Robey, 83, died April 2, 2004, in the Horn Nursing Home.
Born Feb. 18, 1921, in Sikeston, Mo., daughter of the late John F. and Marjorie Swanagon Husher, she was a member of the Wooster United Methodist Church for more than 50 years and was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She served with the U.S. Army in World War II as a WAAC and WAC in the Middle East.
On June 5, 1946, she married Clarke L. Robey who preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1999.
Survivors include: two sons, John S. Robey and Paul D. Robey of Wooster; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Betty Boyd, Delores and Jewel Crawford and Sally Dunnaway of Sikeston; and one brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Sue Husher of Calvert City, Ky.
Two sisters, Pauline Husher and Maxine Husher, also preceded her in death.
No visitation is scheduled.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at McIntire, Davis and Greene Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Hayes officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wooster Cemetery.
