SIKESTON - Harry Kerr has returned to Sikeston to be associated with J.O. Knupp in the Missouri Insurance Co. agency. Mr. Kerr formerly lived in Sikeston for several years while in the employ of the State Highway Department.
SIKESTON - Ralph Boyer, president of the Chamber of Commerce, announced today that Manuel Drumm will be master of ceremonies at the annual meeting April 9 at which columnist Drew Pearson will speak.
ORAN - Jewel "Cotton" Anderson was named Oran's Man of the Year at a banquet March 24. Anderson is general superintendent of city maintenance in Oran, a U.S. Army veteran and former restaurant owner at Bell City.
