ST. LOUIS -- Scott Chambliss, 42, formerly of Lilbourn, died March 26, 2004, at his home in St. Louis.
Born March 24, 1961, in Portageville, son of the late J.R. and Leonna Hunt Chambliss, he was a deckhand for American Commercial Barge Lines.
Survivors include: four daughters, Stacy Chambliss of Kalamazoo, Mich., Cassandra Chambliss of Hermosa Beach, Calif., Elana Chambliss of South Bend, Ind., and Amber Chambliss of Jackson; seven sisters, Dixie Adkins of LaForge; Deonna Tanner and Cindy Adkins of New Madrid, Nancy Walker of Lilbourn, Judy Keck of Sikeston and Teresa Flegal of Philamoth, Ore.; and one grandson, Dillon Chambliss of Kalamazoo.
One sister, Iris Hayes and one brother, Jay Chambliss, preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday. Mike Roberts will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
