SIKESTON - Mary L. Webber, 88, died at 1:50 a.m. March 29, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Dec. 12, 1915, in Portageville, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Davidson House, she owned and operated restaurants in Morehouse and Sikeston and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include: one daughter, Pansy French Thorpe of Beloit, Wis.; four sisters, Gladys House Smith and Betty House Butler of Portageville, Margie House Todd of Sikeston, Ruby House Rooker of New Madrid; four grandchildren, Mary Kimberly Thorpe of Beloit, Robert George Thorpe Jr. of Madison, Wis., James Ernest Thorpe of Rhinelander, Wis., and Laura Thorpe Bonebright of Stoughton, Wis.; one great-granddaughter, Madeline Elizabeth Bonebright of Stoughton; and a special friend, Lyman Dale of Sikeston.
Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Leland Butler of Portageville will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
