CHARLESTON - A Charleston resident was slashed with a knife during an assault Halloween night.
Charleston Department of Public Safety is investigating a slashing assault in the 700 block of Gail in Charleston which occurred about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Public Safety officers were called to the scene of a disturbance and the first arriving officer was informed of an assault with a knife.
The victim was treated and released from an area hospital.
Arrested was Toria Lawrence, 18, of Charleston for second degree assault. The bond is set at $10,000.
