Mosquito prevention

Charlie Parks, a city of Sikeston Public Works employee, throws an Altosid XR briquet into the Sports Complex Lake Tuesday afternoon. The city has started its annual mosquito-prevention program by preparing the complex and other areas with the briquets. The briquets are a slow-release product to prevent mosquitoes from hatching.
