DEXTER -- Bill Gibson, 61, died April 16, 2004, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.
Born July 6, 1942, in Santa Anna, Calif., son of the late Ray B. and Pearl Barker Gibson, he lived in the Bloomfield and Dexter area all of his life, where he worked as an electrician until ill health forced his retirement.
On Feb. 16, 1964, he married Delores McGarrity who preceded him in death on June 4, 1976.
Two brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Theresa Wilson of Dexter; two stepdaughters, Pamela McCoy of Topeka, Kan., and Rita Hunsaker of Batesville, Ark.; two brothers, Lee Roy Barker of Dexter and Jim Gibson of Michigan; a special friend, Lorene Brown of Dexter; and two grandchildren and one stepgranddaughter.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday M.C. Moore of Dexter will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter.
