SIKESTON -- Dorothy Mae Porter, 51, died Aug. 16, 2004, at her home.
Born Dec. 16, 1952, in Canalou, daughter of the late Lucious and Leola Perkins Flowers, she was a member of the West End Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as choir president. She retired from Macrotech Selastone in Chicago.
Survivors include: one daughter, Leola Flowers of Chicago; three sons, Raymond Flowers, Keith Scott and Locious Flowers of Chicago; seven sisters, Joyce Spicer of Sikeston, Albertina Dawson of Piercy, Calif., Emma Flowers and Rebinder Flowers of St. Louis, Matidal Baker and Maggie Flowers of Chicago and Sarah Holmes of South Carolina; seven brothers, DeWayne Flowers, Robert Flowers, Eddie Flowers, Waymond Flowers, Leroy Flowers, Marshall Flowers and Richard Flowers of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at West End Missionary Baptist Church, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Chester Yarber officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sunset of Memories Cemetery.
Williams Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
