Glendale Ladd

STURDIVANT - Glendale Ladd, 69, died March 30, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 30, 1935 in Como, son of the late Finis and Thelma Whitehead Ladd, he had been a truck driver and timber worker and was a member of the Zalma Masonic Lodge.

On Feb. 7, 1953, at Marble Hill, he married Shirley Kennedy who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Gerald Ladd of Sturdivant; two daughters, Patty Bitterman of Advance and Phyllis Rutherford of Sturdivant; one brother, Jim Ladd of Jackson; and four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Debbie Ladd; and two brothers, Charles Ladd and Mitchell Ladd.

Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Keith Price will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Balch Cemetery at Zalma.
