DEXTER - Ruby Cullum, 70, died Aug. 19, 2004, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center.

Born March 29, 1934, in Dongola, Ark., daughter of the late Calvin and Pearl Elizabeth Flynn Williams, she attended the Word of Faith Church in Bernie. She had been employed by Swift and Company in Dexter.

On March 12, 1952, at Piggott, Ark., she married Marvin Cullum who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Pervia David Cullum of Bloomfield and Ricky Cullum and Tony Randall Cullum of Dexter; one daughter, Barbara Jean Worley of Dexter; one brother, Willard Williams of Malden; two sisters, Imogene Gromer of Bernie and Christine Clay of Natchitoches, La.; and nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two infant sons, Johnny David Cullum and Bobby Joe Cullum; four daughters, Nellie Robertson, Beulah Watkins, Bertha Fielder and Eula Williams; three brothers, Chester Williams, Vearl Williams and Troy Williams; and one granddaughter, Tanya Cullum.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Monday until service time at 1 p.m. at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Dale Hartle will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Taylor Cemetery near Essex.
