DEXTER - Charles Eugene Krewson, 64, died Dec. 10, 2003, at the John Cochran Veterans Administration Medical Center in St. Louis.
Born April 24, 1939, at Knobview, son of the late Edward and Lena Rhinehart Krewson, he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, where he served as deacon, Sunday school teacher for the children's department and was a member of the church choir. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a former warehouse manager for Paramount Headwear in Bernie and a former disc jockey for KOKS radio in Poplar Bluff.
On June 23, 1962, at St. Ann, he married Delores Myers who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, Timothy Krewson of Dexter; three daughters, Eugenia Walters of Troy, Anita Trout of Puxico and Deanna Warden of Ferguson; two brothers, Dean Krewson of St. Clair and George Krewson of Florissant; one sister, Marie Roth of St. Louis; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Kevin Chenoweth and Ron Walters will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
