DeKALB, Ill. -- Jesse R. Moore, 75, died Nov. 26, 2003, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
Born April 22, 1928, in Sikeston, Mo., son of the late Elmer and Roxie Mitchell Moore, he retired from Anaconda Wire and Cable in Sycamore after 20 years and was a member of the T.T.C. Camping Club.
On April 26, 1946, in Sikeston, he married Jewell Hicks who survives.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jerald David and Susan Swanner of Lexington, Okla.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Kenneth Suppeland of DeKalb and Priscilla "Pandy" and Denny Filz of Puxico, Mo.; one brother, Jerry L. Moore of Sikeston; and nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Two sisters and one brother also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. today at the Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fairview Park Cemetery.
