SIKESTON - Mary "Jane" Pardon, 83, died April 23, 2004, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born July 13, 1920, in Hayward, daughter of the late, James William and Emma Mae Wyatt Bishop, she was owner and operator of Pardon's Grocery Store in Sikeston and a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church.
On July 13, 1940, in Portageville, she married Irvin B. Pardon who preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1987.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Gracie Lee Bishop McCall.
Survivors include: one son, Irvin Dwayne Pardon of Lockport, Ill.; three daughters, Sue Lewandowski of Greenville, S.C., Brenda Daniels of Matthews and Lovann Dorris of Owensboro, Ky.; one brother, George Bishop of Lawrenceville, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Sherry Verba, Michael Pardon, Michael Lewandowski, Shelly Coppage, David Landes, Steven Lewandowski, Richie Dorris and Timothy J. Pardon; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev. David Craig, pastor of the Powerhouse of God Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Michael D. Pardon, David Landes, Steven Lewandowski, Richie Dorris, Timothy J. Pardon and Michael Pardon.
