Teen injured in auto accident

PORTAGEVILLE - A Labor Day accident resulted in minor injuries for a Portageville teen.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Virginia Angel, 35, of Portageville was attempting to make a left turn onto County Road 355 from a private drive when she pulled into the path of an eastbound vehicle driven by Melanie Forrester, 24, of Portageville.

Injured was a passenger in Angel's vehicle, Tifany Angel, 13. She was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
